Mentalguy, i think your interview has gone off smoothly, so dont worry about it! You're lucky to be interviewed by an adcomm member as opposed to an alum, coz alums, especially the desi ones, are notorious for writing all kinds of smart stuff in their interview evaluations.

GMAK80, is your scholarship money 15K for two years combined, as in 7500 per annum or is it 15K per annum? Mine is $7500 P.A. Could you share your profile and workex? 28K per year from Krannet is fabulous, but Simon is much better than K if you're particular about finance. Its a tough call between the two, but owen and mendoza are definitely out.

Approvals and celebrations will rarely surround your inner decisions and choices to follow Personal Truth. You will be challenged and taunted: “Who do you think you are, anyways?” And, indeed, through your choices and decisions, that is precisely the question you are answering–to yourself.

Simon is much better than Boston College anyday, especially if you want to do finance. Simon is higher ranked than BC, its finance program is much superior, and is in NY. In your situation, i would say you should take BC only if you cant afford simon coz of the lower scholarship.

Mitramedha, Georgetown might be better than simon in its marketing and consulting programs, but i wouldnt call it a hands-down winner in finance...the two are comparable when it comes to finance, in fact simon has an edge over GT in the economics and finance concentration.

If it is Finance that you seek ... go to Simon. But be ready for a not-so happening city
