R2 it is for me too, 5 yrs IT exp (2.5 yrs of consulting Aus/Mideast/NA), 710 GMAT.
Not even started with the process yet, so would appriciate a quick primer on what all berkely requires (in terms of docs etc).. have to get started on my essays too.. any constructive feedback / suggestions would be really appriciated. My current location is the USA.

the haas site says

"Graduates of non-U.S. institutions must also provide one official degree certificate in the original language. English translations are required if the documents are not in English. They must arrive in a sealed envelope as issued by the school"

can anybody clarify what this means ? well does it mean tht we need to apply for another degree Certificate from the University ?

hiiii...

TOEFL is reqd.
Applicants who received their degrees in countries other than the US, UK, Australia, or English-speaking Canada are required to take the TOEFL exam. This includes applicants with degrees from Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa, the People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and most European countries. Only applicants who have completed a full year of US university-level coursework with a grade of B or better are exempt from this requirement.

And u need to score a min of 68 on the internet based test.

I remember reading somewhr on the site that IELTS is also acceptd even though TOEFL is preferred. But please confirm..

Re: Berkeley in 2008 - 18-10-2007, 04:50 PM

Guyz,

I wanted to know whats the entire course fee at Berkeley.
I was bit confused abt the same. It's mentioned cloase to 60K$ and mentions that it's for the nine month tuition.

Given that it's a 2 year course(FT MBA), does the cost come 120k+$

Or Am I misreading something here??

And also, guys, pls share ur plans for fee payment...loans?scholarships?personal savings?

I can hardly save upto 20k$, so any pointers on financing my MBA??

B/w, I'm a potential 2009 applicant.
And I am going to California shortly, so I mite visit the school.
Any specific queries you have, you can put thm here. I'll try to get the answers whn i'm thr

Hey all,
I am applying to Haas this year as well. I happened to visit the school a month back and attend one of their entrepreneurship events. The deadline seems a hard one to meet, but I'll definitely try and put in my best to meeting it.
All the best to all applicants this year..
