Dear all,

This is taking on from where this thread left.

Now we're organizing an Official Meet for all of us interested in / preparing for GMAT and MBA schools abroad on July 5, 2007 at Taj Mahal Hotel, Gateway of India, Mumbai.

Who should attend this meet?

Really, anyone who is interested in pursuing an International MBA in a top school. Specifically, anybody who wants to get essay tips from successful admits to top schools like Wharton, Chicago GSB, Darden, ask specific personal queries, meet other GMAT takers and form study groups, and more.

Why should you attend this meet?

1. The meet coincides with the Summer World MBA Tour in Mumbai, we can meet and interact with Admission Directors from top schools across the world. Send me a Private Message with your Name, City and Email Address to receive a Free Invite to the World MBA Tour.

Detailed Schedule of the Meet.

Now since Neo2000 cannot make it to the meet, I would require any one of you as a volunteer for the meet. If you're from Mumbai, interested in the Meet and generally idle on July 5th, please PM me with your phone number and I'll contact you!

The Meet starts at 3 pm at Barista, Regal Cinema, Colaba Market. We can meet and interact with each other for over two hours here. Those who cannot make it to the Meet at 3 pm, please Read on.
At 5 pm, we'll all leave for the World MBA Tour at Taj Mahal Hotel, Apollo Bunder. The next couple of hours, you guys might like to visit and meet the participating Business Schools and ask your questions to them.
Around 6:30-7 pm, we will move back to Barista, where we continue the Meet along with those who have streamed in later. We can continue here until we are fed up of each other and/or have flights/girlfriends/boyfriends/dinner to catch.

Those who are coming from outside Mumbai and have nowhere to go in Mumbai, feel free to come and do timepass at the Pagalguy office until the meet starts.

Directions to Barista, Colaba from Airport/wherever

Take a direct Taxi to Colaba Market, near Regal Cinema. Everybody knows Regal Cinema at Colaba.
Barista is just next to Regal Cinema

Directions to Pagalguy Office from wherever

Come to Mumbai CST Station via Local/Taxi and go towards the GPO side of the station.
Right in front of the GPO, a street called Modi Street enters the Fort area. Landmark - a Sugarcane Juice stall and a PCO-cum-Travel-Agent booth at the mouth of the street. Walk into Modi Street.
About 100 m into the street, look for a large blue billboard on your left that reads 'Star Enterprises'.
Take the steps below the billboard to the 3rd floor to reach us.

What time would the PG meet be? I think the world MBA tour runs from 5 pm to 9 pm. Will the PG meet be in parallel?

For starters, the Delhi Summer Tour is on July 7. Many PG users will be already coming there. All you have to do is formalize it here as a PG Meet, identify people in Delhi with admits, get them to the Meet after attending the Tour.

how would we know any delhi admits

OK here's a deal- you come up with list of applicants last year from delhi and I'll volunteer for arranging da meet and bet it'll be as good as Mumbai meet.
