When do most students appear in GMAT? - 31-10-2009, 09:26 PM

Was curious to know as to which months in the year normally have most students appearing for GMAT? I am presuming one would find it tough in those months to schedule a test and so, I will prepare accordingly (assuming it will take me around 4 months to prepare for GMAT).

Regards.

The general practice is to give the GMAT about 6months before end of R1 deadline. Most colleges say that you should have your score by the time you apply/ or by the end of the round that you apply in. Since it is generally advised to apply in R1 or R2, the earlier you write the better it is for you. More so if you find the need to re-take and need the extra time to study for the exam again.
