le me give my experience on GMAT
initially u have to select 5 schools b4 the test starts. yes without the score in hand!! then only the test will start.
firstly thr wud be AWA.
for this my take go thru AWA example in OG11. It has got 2 samples and 3 types of answers for each. also it is given why this responser essay will fetch a score 6 similarly for 4 and 2 also given. After going thru this i formed a template for myself and followed and landed up with a decent score of 5.0/6.0 .
then qa will start--- in qa maximum questions asked was from Number System. like prime number properties. divisibility. HCF, LCM etc. a few questions each from Time Speed Distance, Percentages, Averages. so these topics are a must.
then va-- started off slowly and well. but lost time coz of speed. and had to hurry and messed up this section.:sad::sad:
