Hi All,

I am Newbie. I am really confused abt the whole thing here are some questions.
Before that let me tell you brief abt my profile.

Exp : 3.6 years of exp. with SAP Labs
others : 2 Patents , Member of CRY
Onsite : < 3 months

I do not find an appropriate thread so me posting my query here.
  1. Does the number of jobs I have changed matters?
  2. How much does onsite Exp counts as I have < 3 months of onsite Exp.
    1. Though I have been to 5 countries in Small Time.
  3. Since I have all the Exp in IT which MBA courses I should be looking at.
  4. What is most preferred 1 year MBA or 2 years program
  5. How good are South East Asian B Schools
It will be great if you can guide me.

Thanks in advance

Hi Guys ! Am one of those many who would be taking their GMAT this May-June. Just started off with the preperations (my First preperation post engg). Here's my profile:

BTECH - REC Jalandhar (yr 2000), seven and half yrs of experience in IT (Satyam, Keane and now Agilent)...working as a SAP SD analyst now, however, feel like doing more schooling before venturing into management circle....Looking for ISB, IIM - A / C (PGPX, obviously

Just gave my first prep test, GMAC Prep 1 and got a miserable 590. How does this sound to you guys !! Can anyone pump me up here ??? I understand that I should be able to score well above this once I am done shining my rusted brain again...but was just curious to know whether this would eventually work from you folks....

Nikhil

Can anyone give me some gyan about this Fall and Spring concept?

I would be writing the paper in June 2008......so how should I go about it?

I am really scared of critical reasoning...

One more thing is it advisable to join a coaching or self study is sufficient?

thanks in advance

all the best to all of you !!

Fall is August application and Spring in Your Jan Applicou application
If you appear for GMAT in AUG 2008 then only you are eligible for the 2009 Fall application if you give it later then you become eligible for the Jan 2010 (spring) application

Hi guys,

I am a bit confused on this fall/spring funda.... so required your help on that. I am aiming at applying to all the colleges for next fall batch...... with special emphasis on colleges like ISB..... when do you suggest will be the right time to give the exam keeping in mind the other rounds also........... I was aiming for mid July time, furthermore do I need to book the exam slot from now then.....

furthermore what we exactly mean by r1 and r2 for any colleges?

and somewhere i read that, we can have mock examinations like Powerprep and GMATPrep........ if I am not wrong, GMATPrep can be downloaded from MBA.com right? where can I get the Powerprep stuff from?

Thanks in advance,

Parth
