Re: GMAT Prep Material - 17-01-2007, 01:46 AM

Hi all
Im looking for 'Cracking the GMAT 2007 with DVD - Princeton review' in US. I've searched most of the online stores including Amazon and eBay but cudn't find anything less than $25. Can anybody tell me where I can get this book for less (used is OK for me).
Also the same book without the DVD is pretty cheap ($10)..IS it worth buying it without the DVD.

Also... can somebody PM me Kaplan 800 pdf and Manhattan pdfs if they can (screw the law )

And last but not the least...Anybody has the OG 11 pdf (i know the answer but wats the harm in trying )?????

Exclamation Re: GMAT Prep Material - 18-01-2007, 08:10 PM

Hi,
I'm looking for additional tests to do.
So far I've got the GMAT prep tests from MBA.com and I also use the Princeton Review tests on the websites.

Where else could I get additional sectional or GMAT simulaton tests to do?

Someone mentioned there were some tests on the Princeton DVD, but all I got are some videos.

I know everyone says "it's urgent".. but since I've got just 11 days left for me GMAT..
It's urgent!!!

(Buying new books isn't an option... I'm already out of cash )

Re: GMAT Prep Material - 18-01-2007, 11:53 PM

Hi,

I am planning to order Princeton only for practice tests and not for Learning.

Which is better:

1>Cracking the Gmat With DVD, 2007 Edition (Paperback)
by Princeton Review (Author)
2>Cracking the Gmat With CD-Rom, 2006 (Paperback)
by Princeton Review (Author)

Queries:

1> Does the DVD contain full length tests or only explanations on how to solve problems ?

2>If the DVD does not contain full length tests, are they avaialbe online to everyone OR
only to those who purchase the 2007 edition.

3> Are the online tests same as those in the CD which comes with 2006 editioin.

Help needed urgently.
Have to order in 1 or 2 days.

Regards,
AMIT

Hi Amit,

1.)The 'Cracking the GMAT... with DVD' does not contain any practice tests.
The DVD does contain a partially useful video for new students.

2.) You do get access to 4 online practice tests at The Princeton Review

3.) No idea, that's something I'd like to know too.

I liked the Princeton review. It's got some really nice tips and tricks, and while there's nothing exhaustive about it, it's definitely something you should go through... Worth the 600 odd bucks.

i think tht Manhattan doesnt sell its books thru bookstores.(read it in some forum )
n for tests u ve loads of tests available such as princeton, kaplan, PP,GMATPrep.
also u can go for 800score tests.i dont know how tough or easy they are but still good for practice.
these many must be enough.even if want more u ll never run out of PBT's.
