Hi Guys...i have taken the Barrons GMAT CAT1 today with a score of QA-33 and VA 36. Can any one of you tell me how much will that be in in terms of scaled score? I don't have the score-evaluation charts for finding out my total score.

Thanks!

Quants is scaled against a maximum of 51.5 ... 51 implies 99 percentile
Verbal is scaled against a maximum of 44 ... 43 implies 99 percentile

Convert these against 100 again and calculate your marks for 800.
Ex: Q-47 and V-40 implies 710-720 out of 800.

That cant be predicted in a precise manner as we do not know the questio difficulty level .... but with very few mistakes as mentioned .. that would scale upto 750 or more ...

Re: GMAT Prep Material - 21-05-2008, 11:33 AM

Hi All,

This is a query regarding the preparation for the Quans section of the GMAT. I prefer preparing topic by topic and then taking few sample questions on it. For ex, If i cover Permutations and combinations topic, then I would like to solve a few questions from that topic. Are you aware of any books or websites where such a demarcation of topic wise explanation and/or topic wise questions are given? Any reference for the same would be helpful. Thanks.

Cheers,
Vino

Is American Education Aids a good resource for preparing GMAT?
