GMAT Prep Material

Hey Puys,
a brief about me.

1. I plan to take GMAT in Oct 08.

2. Presently working as central govt employee and can study for 2-3 hrs daily.

3. Collected the prep mtrl .

a. Kaplan premier
b. Kaplan 800
c. OG 11
d. princeton review

4. Gone through the strategy of all the three books except Kaplan 800. and started with SC.

5. Expect to get the score of 700. and not willing to join any coaching classes.

Pls advice will it be okay with above prep mtrl and without coaching..

Hi sheetal,
Coaching can help, if u r not self disciplined. Otherwise self study is a quicker and more effective way of getting things right, especially if ur basics are all right.
I too started 2weeks back. no coaching,started with OG11 and manhattan SC.
I heard from a few friends getting abov 730 that kaplan 800 is too difficult and hence is not required; not the real gmat like questions.

Hi Saurabh,
You should not post your mobile numbers like that in a forum.U may get hoax calls.
Anyways i am appearing for the GMAT on 31st May so I got lesser time.
You can always post a question here.

Well, prep is goin ok i guess and il take the gmat in mumbai.
ive done the princeton review, the OG11 and the Manhattan verbal books.
Currently goin thru the Kaplan 800 and taking tests.
What about u?

Can some one tell me some good tests for GMAT. I have manhattan SC, OG11 and princeton review book to study. I think that will be more than enough for me. All I need some good tests to practice.
Some online tests or any software for this?

Im facing a major bottleneck in as far as tests is concerned. There is a free test on the Kaplan site I think.... and one on the Princeton Review site...

Where Could I get free tests??.....

Or Paid ones for that matter?... thanks in advance....

I am also giving exam on 30 june. I am currently located at chesterfield,UK.
It will be nice to synchronise our prep together. Let me know if u have any suggestions
