C BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
D EACH Statement ALONE is sufficient.
E Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

The dimensions of a rectangular box - 2, 8, 20 inches is to be completely wrapped with paper. If a single sheet of paper is to be used without patching, then the dimensions of the paper could be
(A) 17 in by 25 in
(B) 21 in by 24 in
(C) 24 in by 12 in
(D) 24 in by 14 in
(E) 26 in by 14 in
Surface area of box is 432.
Surface area of options is as below
(A) 425
(B) 504
(C) 288
(D) 336
(E) 364
So, only 504 sq inches can cover the box.
Answer is B.

I think its 420.

for a rectangle to form 4 lines should intersect ,ie 2 from 8 family and 2 from 6 family. So the toatal no: of rectangles become 8C2*6C2=420.
