HEY KEYA!!

yes i am taking the actual gmat on monday!
and i gave my 8th and last KAPLAN cat yesterday, and scored 670! my 7th kaplan cat was 650 also.

now i am off to take GMATPrep #1.
i'll let you know how it goes.

Hey Anjinsan,

Where did you manage to get 8 Kalpan CATs from?? My Kaplan CD had only 4!!???

i also had 4 in my Kaplan book

first off, i had access to 8 kaplan cat's because i was enrolled in kaplan classroom course here in usa and thus had access to all the online resources of kaplan.

and i just took the GMATPrep test #1, scored a disappointing 690 (q47 v38 )

i made bunch of stupid mistakes, hopefully will do better tomorrow on my second GMATPrep test and on monday at the actual gmat.

keya: some things i noticed was that verbal was somewhat easier than kaplan, it had 4 RC passages instead of 3. but they were more clear.

math part was a little tricky, not necessarily easier or harder than kaplan, but just "different". i made some stupid errors, hence scored a disapoointing 47 (was scoring 50 on kaplan cat).

but overall it was a good experience, definetely keep me updated on your kaplan cat's and/or GMATPrep tests.

Hi Anjinsan,

How did you find the quant and verbal in OG11? I think what you said about the GMATPrep questions are true there as well... the verbal is 'easier' and the quant is just a little different.

Did you keep a tally about how you were doing on the OG11 questions? I did the OG questions in batches of 20 a day (20 from each section, PS, DS, RC, CR and SC) and plotted out my accuracy curves. What I'm going to be looking for when I give my GMATPrep CAT is whether the curves from OG11 and the accuracy points from the GMATPrep have any correlation or not. It might be a good idea to analyse your accuracy points and then decide which areas need a bit of last minute prep.

I'll let you know how I do on the GMATPrep #1. I plan on giving it tomorrow morning.

actually i don't even have OG11. or any other gmat material other than kaplan.

so i have not used any other study material other than kaplan, therefore i cant answer your question sorry.

i will be taking the second gmatprep test tomorrow morning. i will check the site before. make sure you post your score after your first gmatprep

Hi Sunil,

OG refers to Official Guide 11.

Not sure about ETS 11 coz GMAT is being administered by GMAC and not by ETS any more.
