Re: GMAT Query Centre - 13-05-2008, 02:03 AM

Hi guys,
Just a quick question. I am targetting for 720+, so whats the accuracy level I should expect in Verbal and in Quant during questions practice. As presently I am getting around 60% in SC from OG11. I believe its too low. So wanted some expert advice.

Thanks,

PS - I am working on OG11 and 1000 docs.
Any pointers to some previous posts are also welcome.

hi munuchwa,
i doubt whether the question that you are asking can be answered at all.
the accuracy level depends on the difficulty level of the problems u r solving.the OG11 has the questions arranged in increasing order of difficulty level supposedly.so 60% accuracy in 1st 10 questions would be very different from that in last 10.the gmat score is higher if the difficulty level u start to get uncomfortable at is higher.the number of questions u get right is not that relevant.
however, 60% at any difficulty level of the OG is on the lower side.try to get it to about 80-90.

Does anybody has "Archangel's explanations" or "any other source of explanations" for sets 21 to 30 (especially Verbal)?

If one is an average performer what is the score that can be expected in GMAT.
Similarly for an above average performer what could be the expected score.

Any tips would be appreaciated. Thanks.
