Hi All,


Please help me with the GMAT preparation.
I have done some tests this weekend and found some problems. Guys please tell me how can i improve on my weeknesses. My main problem is the verbal.

The problems are:
1) Concentration: I find that i get arnd 7-9 correct in the first 10 ques but as the verbal section goes on my accuracy keeps on declining. Please tell me what should i do to improve my concentration and hence the accuracy. I lose whole energy by the end of the exam which i feel is one of the reason for scoring low in verbal section towards the end of the test.

2) Whenever i do the seperate sections that is a section on CR or RC or SC my accuracy is good as compared to when in do the whole GMAT verbal section. This i think is attributed to concentration but dont know what to do next.

I have my GMAT scheduled in the september end so guys plz tell me what should i do now to improve on my Verbal scores.

I have done some GMAT CATs and my scores are as follows:

Kaplan Diagnostic : 690
Kaplan 1 : 600 ( Q50, V26)
Kaplan 2 : 580 ( Q50, V24)

Powerprep 1 : 700 ( Q50, V34)

Guys plz help me give sme tips how should i improve on my verbal scores

GMAT JUNTA I took this test (a free gmat online test) www.petersons.com & got a pathetic 72%ile Score overall. I request you ppl to take the same & lemme know, if gmat will be of same difficulty... I thought it was @$@%$^%$^&^&%*&%&%*&^&)(*)(&*&^#$@$#%$^%# :bad-word:

where is the GMAT online free test?? i didnt get any proper link...can you guide..

btw u seemed to be on the test taking spree...u r so thirsty for tests that u also bother to take non standard tests...
i m sure u must hv taken crack GMAT test too

no offense but they most of the time are confi shattering tests...
what dyo think>?

Hi Puys,
Can someone who has done the Kaplan Tests as well as Kaplan 800 And/Or Kaplan 2006 Prep Book guide me about if there is any overlap of the question between the tests and the books. I'm planning to read the books first and then give the tests, so probably if there is any overlap I'll take the tests first and then proceed with the book.
Experienced people like Kunal, harsh,Keya or anyone Plz help me out as I've just 20 days to prepare and nail the GMAT. I'm also quite sulky abt my Powerprep scores :
PP1 - 720
PP2 - 720

Hey ppl…gave my GMAT ystrday, got a 740….
Quant 50 (95 percentile)
verbal 40 (90 percentile)
overall- 740 (98 percentile)
essays dunno…got to incorporate good exmpls n words…
I’ve started another thread, wherin I’ve given some tricks of d trade
Do mk use of d same..

Hi Pankaj!

Kaplan tests are low scoring.Most of people sugget to add 100-120 to Kaplan score to get a better picture.

Going by this rule you are already at 700+ level and you can improve alot.

Hi friends,
Im new to GMAT process. So i had this query. I have heard that MBA in US is very costly affair which only uber rich go for. So guys plz tell me what is the moolah that goes into this whole process right from start to finish. Also how much liquid cah u need, are Loans available, if yes how much.

Hope this is the correct place to post. If not pls divert me to the correct one...
