Isn't it far more likely that your friend was under-prepared? Months of the year have nothing to do with degree of difficulty. The test is just as difficult on any given day.

I had planned to take gmat in september(made an appointment on Sept 2). But I would need to travel overseas for a few months. I understand that I need to pay some $$ for reschedule within India. Is it possible to reschedule or take the gmat in the US?

Hi I came across a gmat prep website called wingmat. Has anyone used the site before to prepare for GMAT; is it any good? I am thinking of paying for two months access and i just wanted to get some advice first before parting with my cash.Thank you

Hi guys..

I will be giving my GMAT on 11th jul.. please help i me out quickly..
I am in a fix where to apply in the 5 free colleges on test day.

please suggest me some colleges for the same based on these criterias:

1> expecting 680-700. good acads n prof exp.
2> 3 yr exp by the time i join.
3> looking for 1 yr courses only (as of now)
4> finance or intl business
5> dont have enuf bucks for costly schools..

As of now i have zeroed at NTU, NUS. How r these as per my criteria..
Also how abt thunderbird?

Please help me with ur quick replies..

Giving the GMAT shortly...

• Can anyone tell me whether exact OG Qs pop up on the real GMAT?
• How well do PowerPrep tests reflect your ability as they carry quite a few identical Qs from OG?

And guys, one more thing...
Though I am giving my GMAT now, I intend to work for sometime before my MBA.
Does choosing the B-schools have any significance for me? (I am kind of running short on time for last minute prep, so don't want to spend more time on looking up B-schools)

Hi Puys,
I m starting to prepare for GMAT and will probably give it in April next year. Yesterdau I bought the KAPLAN Premier Program 2009 and gave the diagnostic test. I got 32/38 correct in the test. How good is that? Also can somebody please guide me on how to study?
By the way I am doing my MBA from IIT Madras right now and scored 99+ percentiles in CAT 2007 as well as XAT 2007 with English and Quant being my bogie respectively. Probably I was not lucky on both days!!
But nonetheless I joined IIT Madras and am planning to go for a second international MBA from Top-10 schools in US or world. I plan to do this MBA after 2-3 yrs work-ex. Right now I am a fresher with 8 CGPA currently in MBA and with 70% in BE from Nagpur University and 83-84 % in both 10th and 12th.
Friends please guide me with what I must expect and what are my chances for a Top-10 B-School in USA.

I am planning to give my GMAT by november end/december.....
Actually i also want to aplly to some of INdian Colleges(SP JAin, Narsee Monji, Tapmi etc)Now as I am planning to apply for april 2009 I wanted to know could i meet the deadline for the colleges....
This is because as far i know the deadlines for these colleges are around nov...
