Depending upon ur suitability for the course, you can also check out Cornell,Carenegie Mellon Uuniv- Tepper, UT Austin & Rochseter. You will have to check out the websites of various schools to check whether you fit in the pool or not.
Univ of North Carolina also has a respectable course for Finance
Also, since you are an engg, you can consider MS in Finance or Financial Engg. Its relatively easier to get into this course, is of 1 year duration and pays off well after completion. However, you must check out the course contents before opting for this course as this is core Finance & Research oriented course, lot diffrnt from an MBA.

Guys i have the Official guide 10th edition , and almost on the verge of completing it. Now i have bought the Official guide 11th edition[Orange].I have heard there is a lot of overlap[read almost same] between the official guide quantitative review[green and purple] and the verbal review and the official guide 10th edition.Could some one who has worked with the both of them confirm it.
Also i have more than a month for preparation before my GMAT Test, and have already used most of the official guide 10th edition.Could someone suggest me good books solely for practice questions.
To add more information , currently gave a princeton test and got
590[Q 38, V34].So primarily want to focus much more on math for few days.
I have used official guide 10th edition , kaplan 800 till now.
Using the kaplan premeire program currently. Could someone suggest me good material for practice.
Looking for insightful replies .

Looking for insightful replies . | Well its true that there is some overlap between the three books...after going through official guide, u must have realised that the difficulty of the questions is quite low...my suggestion would be...first to complete the section tests of kaplan premier program..and then the kaplan 800...which will take sometime to complete...and then go in for full length tests of premier and try to maximize ur score in that...u can also login to kaplan site and take tests that they provide....one of the biggest challenges faced by guys are the sentence corrections and u could refer to Manhattan SC for that matter....but kaplan tests if taken seriously help the most...
Hope this helps...and best of luck! | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Shhhweta For This Useful Post:

You have all the books and enough time...start on ur own with OG...and if u feel any need for coaching u can join a center later...maybe in a months time...good to see someone from chandigarh best of luck | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to vicky.verma For This Useful Post:
