Can anyone give a rough idea of the types of questions that are normally asked in GMAT??

I am not at all familiar with the pattern of GMAT,so pls help........

Close to 600 posts and Multiple posting?? Simply not acceptable from an "Oldie".

As for idea, go to MBA.com download the GmatPrep software and take the test.Those are GMAT questions so you'll get a really good idea about the type of questions.

Hi Pagals,
Has anyone bought the retired tests available at mba.com? I bought one set (14,31 and 55). I've attempted two of these and got scores of 730 and 680.Generally feel these are very easy in quant and heavy in verbal as compared to powerprep exams. Anyone has any experience to share on these exams...also as the explanations are not given...it might be usefull to discuss..

Hi Guys,

I am IT professional exp 2.5 yrs.having finance for 2 yrs and retail functional domain for 6 months.

Plannig to give GMAT this year.but have very little idea about the foreign bschools , also reg sp jain mumbai 1 year course dnt know the ROI .
Having all the prep material, but not able to catch the loosen threads,
Please share ur thoughts how to start the prep and where to start.

(B) x is less than 11.

Also would be great if someone could suggest on the books that shall be referred for Sentence Correction and Critical Reasoning

I am planning to take GMAT in 2008, Can anybody tell me when is the latest date that i should take so that i can apply to both indian and foreign schools for the june 2009 intake.
