thanks crash_test_dummy.. I am thinking hard about your advice now. What I have decided is that I apply to only good universities in the US, ISB, and GLIM. If i get admission fine, if not , I shall apply after one year, if not I shall apply again after 2 years. Lets see how things open up. And yeah all the best for your exams. If you planning to give GMAT for study in the US, there is a "world MBA tour" organized by TOPMBA, in mumbai on 3rd december. Maybe you would want to register for it.

i was actually wondering what was this nautilus guy thanking me for! But no problem...thanks to me anyways!

Good u`re considering work ex and applying simultaneously until u get a good admit. but there`s one thing to remmeber...some schools do not look upon re-applicants favorably. As in, if you`ve applied one year and gotten rejected, your app might not be given as much weightage as it deserves. this is a rare thing, but do verify this from the individual schools and alumni. if you feel you chances of getting into a good school are low AND that school has a anti-reapplicant policy, u might as well wait until your last/best shot rather than applying to it year after year.
