i took about 1 min 30 sec to complete this disgusting para(real rubbish).
well, 1 more thing which i notice is that although i spend considerable time on net, still i am more comfortable reading on paper. that can make some difference on ur speed. so, this can be only an comparative thing.

generally my speed is around 300-400wpm(quite large range. isn't it )

It took me 51 secs to read the passage.. but my comprehension was round 60% or so..
my reading speed fluctuates .. sometimes as low as 260 wpm and somtimes as high as 600 wpm.. my average reading speed though is 450 wpm..

i took 2:20 .. i know its quite slow.
I m encouraged by seeing reading speed of all others.
for me way to go.
and cattie its good that u have good collections of RC from PT.

Took 48 seconds to go through it Reading with speed in mind is a different story, it has to be done very consciously. esp, since I haven't done that in ages ..

hi all

i managed to read this passage in 1min 10 secs...though i'm sure in a real test it will take a tad more time to finish....

i do not regress n my reading speed varies from 400-450 WPM depending upon the type of passage i read....

i consider myself a fairly good reader so i'd rate myself 7.5 on a scale of 10
