lot of confusion.....
this is what i found in Oxford Thsearus..
dispute noun
1.
open to dispute debate, discussion, argument, controversy, contention, disagreement, altercation, dissension, conflict, friction, strife, discord, litigation.
2.
have a dispute over boundaries argument, row, altercation, clash, quarrel, wrangle, squabble, feud, disturbance, fracas, brawl.
so E is definately wrong.
regd A or C.....
in dispute means 'being argued about' (i just got this from the dict) Since phrases win in GMAT, i think its better to mark A than C.....
