Parajumbles for CAT 2007 - 05-04-2007, 05:40 PM

Puys,
As per the inputs of most of the Junta I am starting this new thread....

I will post 5 parajumbles a day @5days a week..(.If possible I will post on Saturdays and Sundays also.) I will post the answers next day so that all of the Junta can have a go at the parajumbles. We can discuss all the answers the next day so that everyones doubts would be cleared.I will post the new set of 5 questions in the evenings so that hopefully all the discussion with regarding to the old questions would be completed by then

regards,
Absolute

Hello Absolute! Ur initiative is appreciated. I just want to put forth a point. Once u post a set of parajumble qns, just make sure that there are no typos in it and the punctuations are correct. If need be, u can edit ur post. Coz otherwise the whole thing becomes a lot more difficult and ppl will end up co-relating the sentences differently (and in most cases wrongly ).

Just to give some examples from today's set of qns, I would like to point out:
1. 4 (D) - " ...won the respect of ram say Mc Donald" (Not sure whether it is correct. Are we referring to the person's name here?)
2. 5 (B) - "... that are maintained by them became the back bone of the business" (the 'became' in the sentence doesn't seem to fit in. Coz most of the sentences speak in future tense but this one goes to the past. So doesn't seem proper)

Please correct me if I am wrong. This post is not to point at mistakes but just to make sure that when we learn, we learn the right things. No offences meant.

Thanks
Stiletto
