The anonymity here (on internet) can be used to ones advantage.
On this thread I expect to see all "picked & corrected grammatical mistakes in my postings" (& postings of other users .. if they volunteer too) .. you come across on PG.com.

For your help, I have given a link to this thread in my signature also.
I expect similar deed from other users also so that by pointing each others mistake we can learn in an easy way.

ALSO .. point a mistake only if you believe it is UNINTENTIONAL .. like there are many mistakes we are doing knowingly .. including the spelling mistakes ..

So get going Sherlock ..

PS - I think its understood that "Rather than emphasising on a person, EMPHASISE on the mistake !!"

In a sentence, if you have 'although' you should not have a 'but'

That should have read 'I was very careful in the above posting but i knew that you guys will not spare that one also' or 'Although I was very careful in the above posting, i knew that you guys will not spare that one also'

The usage of 'also' is seen quite a lot in english grads from chennai.. you wouldn't be from around there would you ?
