back to the question i just wanted to know how many diff languages can u all speak?
i can speak..
english
hindi
punjabi
pahadi(himachali)
little bit of kannada

these 4 fluently

french ( can sayy my name is asad)
arabic (same like french)

these 2 i tried learning but failed miserably.

english
hindi
tamil
malayalam
sanskrit
urdu
telugu - to a certain extent
marathi - can manage

i can speak hindi, tamil, english and french. apart from these, i can understand telugu, malayalam and sanskrit

well i can speak, write and understand only three languages:

English
Hindi
Urdu

I forgot Sanskrit learnt in school :(

Little bit of Gujarati I can write and understand but can't speak, since I'm in Ahmedabad since last three years!!

Hindi
Oriya
Sanskrit
Bengali
Punjabi
Urdu ( not very good at it but I can manage )
German ( joined the German language learning class a few days back )


I had learnt this Indonesian language called "Basa" a few years back. Wonder how much I remember right now

Tried learning some south Indian languages like telugu from a cousin staying in Vizag and few other south Indian languages from a friend ( I am still tryng to learn)


Computer Languages :

C, C++, HTML, JAVA

and can understand a bit of Urdu.

I am planning to learn a foreign language..something that wld be useful..
