I have I.E 7 and for me it works much better than my mozilla firefox or netscape .. I am pretty happy with it , looks sleek also ...

I personally like the slickness of Mac - especially iMac. Their real time video effects in Photo Booth, the remote control , the machine itself - is so good. They must have put in soo much work - it shows. It looks like a table-top-ipod. If you are a home user or a creative proffessional (photographer/movie maker/etc) - mac rocks.

Vista - many ideas taken from Mac OSX - there is a lot of originality too. They are doing a lot with file-metadata. Looks good initially. Did not get to try it for too long.

While we are at it, you might want to check this out:

For the un-informed, Mac OSes are cats - cheetah, leapord, tiger, jagaur, etc.

Btw, Did anyone try developing something on mac? Code warrior looked ancient at best in comparison to Visual Studio. XCode - is slightly better than Codewarrior but many releases away from coming close to VS. Developing anything on mac is a night mare - it is not just the unfriendly IDEs - there are other problems. Perhaps this is why no eco system evolved arnd mac and may be this is why despite die-hard loyals, Mac will just have 5% of the market share.

M$ might be using Apple's UI research centers as their personal UI labs, they might be un-ethical and copy ideas, still coding on win is an experience much better than on Mac.

I would recommend you to give Firefox 2.0 a try. There is hell lot of difference between Firefox 2.0 and IE 7. Come on, did you try Firefox recently? It is so stable, fast and has plethora of add-ons to make it even more wonderful.

Very rarely websites are not compatible with Mozilla-Firefox. Then I have to dig out IE and it sucks big time. Try using Firefox 2.0 and tell you how you like it. Do add some plugins/search engines to it; then only you can feel how powerful it can be. Also, ever tried opening a page on IE and then on Firefox? Webpages come up way faster on Firefox as compared to IE.

I have firefox , but the older version , will try the new one also ... but still was never happy with the old firefox , had problems while shopping online ...

Use Mozilla IE Tabs for online payments. Howver, Sites like HDFC Bank have upgraded where u can do the same on Firefox which wasn der till some time before..

For the rest, apart from JET AIRWAYS: Best Indian airlines. Air tickets, flights to India, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, London, Colombo, Kathmandu, almost all the sites wrk well with Firefox..!
