OMPACT!!!
The Old Man Puys Association CAT Team…
Who? Anyone who is a member of OMPA, and will be giving CAT in 2009, is a member of OMPACT. Unlike DT/UDT/BBLT, there are no limits to the size of this particular team.
Why? We do not want to be told “You can’t hold a candle to us. You don’t know what giving the CBT CAT feels like.” We are ready to be the guinea pigs. The rabbits in whose eyes shampoo is poured to test its pain threshold. The rats... you get the picture.
When? Unlike the rest of the world, who will be bidding to get the last of the last slots in the 10 days of CAT, we shall be bidding, unanimously, for the First Day, First Show (oops... Slot... sorry, Channel [V]) of CAT. We have given CAT before any n00b, and so shall it be for the CBT as well...
Where? We shall be converging on this thread. And since it is in Chit-chat rather than in Prep/CAT or other sections, it is closed to any kind of preparations. It is rather open to nostalgic reminiscences of the days of CATs gone bye. (Which pencil to use??)Which Pencil to use, anyone?
What? We shall be giving exclusives to our followers, and our sponsors. As the first guinea pigs of the CBT CAT, our experiences shall be valued by everyone across the spectrum. (Psst... here’s a secret – we’ll also share kostins privately, as we don’t want PG to go the Scoretop way, do we?)
How? Who cares? PGHQ will be getting us a sponsor, anyways...
SO... all those who are members of OMPA... or are not, but would like to be, and are with us in this fight to lose game, join us. We shall be giving CAT 2009, first day, first slot. Pour in your nominations. And SoPs, if you want.

Another of the wild initiatives that the Old Men's Pagalguy Association (OMPA - please find logo attached!) has. Yes ladies and gentlemen. Imagine the leverage that Pagalguy will have. 100 MBAs (or people smart enough to prented they have MBAs and don't care anymore) writing the CAT, providing exclusive content to PG. Wooohooo.
And the new generation of Puys will benefit greatly. Who needs a Coolest Avatar contest to vindicate cerebral matter of the old men?

Even i will appear for CAT 09.....and I would like to become member of this exclusive club ( If allowed ofcourse)......(BTW crieteria of OMPA ??? )

One thing is for sure: You should not be taking CAT seriously. As in, if you actually _want_ to get into a BSchool, then you cannot be part of this exercise. This is mainly for:
1. Fun
2. Getting oldies back together
3. Fun
4. Oldies being guinea pigs to give exclusive content to PG and n00bs
5. Fun
6. Provide PG with YET another amazing concept to increase its brand equity
7. Fun (@ Nikkulk: Why am I reminded of Ashish Nehra when I do this )
Other than that, the current members of OMPA will have to decide on a 'join by' date cut off or a minimum number of posts cutoff
EDIT: @ try4it... Since you're already in FORE, I don't see why you cannot be part of this. Welcome aboard

Taken out of context this comment may seem to liken the word "fun" to Ashish Nehra.
But even then it is not totally off the mark! He is great "fun" to watch cricketer especially when he is fielding on the ropes
Anyway one of the most important OMPA initiatives is on its way. And yes as chuck mentioned, if you are aiming for a b-school this year you cannot be a member of this club The OMPA has set a target of 100 members for this great initiative. I am sure we will get there soon The PG reforms committee shall be back with the guidelines for this PG OMPACT soon

Though not an old puy by any standards  , I would like to be a part of this great initiative. Would be great help to our fellow puys and er...yeah..fun!
I am joining IMT Ghaziabad this year. I dont have any clue about the academic calender, but I hope there is no exam/exercise/session/activity at that time which clashes with the first day, first slot.
P.S.-Life mein kabhi first day first show movie to dekhi nahi...lekin is baar first day first show ka part zaroor banunga. For humanity's sake

Btw, I was standing besides Sam Dunn when Maiden first came to India (Bangalore). He was shooting his second documentary (World Metal), I also came in his cam (could see myself in that small screen of his cam). Hoped I would also be seen headbanging in the documentary...saala he edited that part

this is perfect for me 
4-Time CAT veteran (cursed 2003 double, 2004 and 2005) AND GMAT cat experienced!!
I suspect quite a few of the OMPAs will fall in this category Should be fun 
Now, if i can only figure out a way to give the CAT without having to return to India. Though a sponsor for my ticket would be nice
p.s. This name reminds me a little too much of the OOMPA-LOOMPAs
