go for honda activa....good mileage around 50 unlike kinetic (mu aunt had a kinetic previously).. and for the dudettes lots of space to keep the plethora of things that u might carry ...weight can be a problem but there's no such thing called utopia u see....other than that its a good buy...40k on road in blore is what u have to dish out.....hope this helps

hey kiran, both dio and activa or kinetic dx/zx for that matter, r all auto-gear!! not ungeared!

if u want ungeared u can go for tvs scooty, kinetic zing etc.

and for price and speci. goto www.indiabike.com

Re: Two Wheelers - 05-05-2004, 11:09 AM

hey kiran

activa is good.... many people i know have it and their response is that it is pretty good...but one factor that you might wanna consider is that all of them bought a grey color cuiz no other color looks good with the grey bumpers and the bumpers are a color that that guy wont change... so you might end up having anohter of those routine activa... much like the black ambasaddors in the yesteryears...

so think about it .. thats the only defect i could find apart from it being heavy

adios

hi psmith...

thanks for the response. but i am really realy going crazy now.. i mean.. everyone is saying that hinda activa is good.... but then it is heavy and looks a bit bulky to... i also have liked kinetic honda.. ZX.. i want to know for a girl... which vehicle would be the best... 40k on road.. is a bit more for me.. but then i can manage.. but still for a girl which one should i go in for ??

hey kiran,

yup it's kinda heavy for a girl and bulky too. and the kinetic zx and dx that come out now r all crap. the old ones were real good. now the whole design is changed and the machine sucks! i would'nt recommend the kinetic dx/zx.

honda dio is more for younger generation and it's less bulky. so u can think of that.
other options r TVS scooty, good enuf for girls for short distance travel(upto 3-4kms say) and also kinetic zing is good similar to scooty tho.
and both these r cheap and light wait.
