So guys/gals I take great pleasure in opening this thread in which we, puys, can discuss about every gadget on this earth. It can be anything ranging from a small camera which can be fitted inside a pen to a large Home Theatre system..anything and everything which has technology inside it..!
Personally I am a gadget freak and love all those tech toyz that fit into your palm..!

Ah my kinda thread. I love gadgets - mobiles, cameras, PDAs, etc.

My love affair with mobiles has seen me go through a lot of them. My picks are the communicator and more recently the Nokia N 73. Awesome mobile and the pick of the lot.

My current wet dreams are:

HTC series. I am currently looking at the high end. Though not sure I would buy one until 3G support is confirmed.

Canon S51S semi professional series. Awesome camera. Robust and real good design.

I also am looking at the Amazon Kindle - Kindle
Still not sure whether it will work here though.

Im looking at the ebook reader aswell.. Bloody expensive I must say.

The Kindle should work fine in here. Not sure about the wifi part, but if you should be able to read books without a hitch..
The Kindle does look out of the 80's though and is known to have many issues..

I suggest you have a look at Readius.. Way better.. not sure its available here though..

I get by reading on my old SE P800 with mobipocket installed on it...

I have mobipocket but I feel the screens restricting. The Readius looks good.

HP is planning to launch an A4 size lcd screen that is really thin and is like paper itself.

The iPhone 3G will be launched on 11th July in USA along with other 22 countries most of them including EU nations

And in the remaining countries (Asian and African) it will be launched after that, though no specific dates has been mentioned till now.

The iPhone 3G will be available in two variants: 8GB (Black) and 16GB (Black & White) with the 8GB costing $199 while the 16GB one costing $299

Also the iPhone will be available in India with Airtel & Vodafone connections but am not sure whether the 3G iPhone will be launched or the Version 1.0 phone will be launched here

But I herd owing to the price cuts the monthly rentals is supposed to surge northwards
As far as the versions go..the iphones bought during May 2008 are being replaced by the new iphones 3G....
