hi can any one tell me how a forum can be created.
i have started a forum for my college but i host that for free.
i wanna make s forum just like our PG .

the browser saves all such files. viz flash, etc in the temporary folder... It can be located at C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files for Win Xp

So, once the page is loaded, u need to locate the file... What i usually do is to delete all the files from this folder and then reload the page. Then, it is easier to spot the file. Once u do that, u can copy the file, from that location to some other. It works with Internet explorer... i dunno about mozilla or other browsers..

hi friends,
i have an issue which needs to be resolved. The thing is that i'm on a LAN with 6 other computers. I am able to get the internet connection (it is shared) but unable to access other's PCs.. i have run the network wizard a no. of times. I can see the system in the workgroup (MSHOME) but unable to open it. This happens irregularly with some or the other computer. Kindly suggest some solution..!

I Want To Know Whether There R Any Possibility Of Addign A Graphics Card To My Laptop Since Its 128mb Shared Memory Is Useless In Playing Games Requiring Graphics Cards.
Also I Would Like To Know Other Upgaradations Available For Other Components.

It's called "crossover cable" and the swapping is needed so that the two wires for transmit connect to the two for receiveing the data on other comp. With straight cables, the hub/switch is supposed to handle this.

Now the question is, everywhere on net, I've read that two computers cannot be connected by the straight cable. You must have crossover cable. However, a lot of people have told me that they have done such networking of two computers with the "regular" cable and there were no issues. How is that possible ??

If you're able to see all the 6 computers in the workgroup, that means your physical network is working fine. Try pinging the 6 machines with their ip addresses. If that works fine, then there's some issue with File & Print sharing for Microsoft networks.. Try removing that and installing again.

In a DVD,there are certain VOB files...any idea which all softwares can open those?

Simply put,I want to copy dvds to hard disk and run it from there. how do i go about doing it?

VOB files are DVD video object files... simply put they are just like mpeg and avi files just better quality in terms of bitrate etc.

now if u have a vob file copied into ur harddisk any software with required codecs can play these files.. i always use nero vision express,or classic media player.. u can always download codecs from free-codecs.com

now if u want to copy dvds into harddisk.. u can simply use a DVD ripper,u can buy it from download.com,some free dvdrip softwares are also available.. u can PM me for more details about free softwares

now u've to find whether ur motherboard has an AGP slot or not...
i would advise u to contact ur vendor for all hardware details..
