There is question of stability in team. If a Player has performed and now or in recent he is not performing then it's coach's role to make him again. Replacing is not a solution.

Ya, no doubt that India has talents but to match Aussies isnt easy!!
Dont think it is possible for Greg to sabotoge India effort. He has kept only people out of the team who were very unfit.Likes of Zaheer, Nehra,Balaji .It afeects the team if your players keep breaking down in every other series.

this is the funniest thread title i've seen in a long time... ROTFLMAO...

jokes apart, i think he's doin a good job cuz we've seen so many ppl stepping up and also ther's been a glimpse of professionalism thru all these months... but then, like a coin has two sides, a gamble need not always pay off... that's what we saw happen lately... so guess its just how india does in WC that counts... apart from that, its clever that india's tourin WI now cuz acclimatizing the players to W-indian conditions before the WC is a good idea...

Too much of stepping in. A coach is like a teacher otherwise we don't need one , selecters will select the team and in next match selecters will remove the nonperformers and keep repeating the same. The solution sud be if one is not performing, coach sud look into why he is not performing. One can be replace if he is not physically/technically fit. We have seen the players have been replace after making arround 20K runs in internationals and taking more than 200 odd wickets.

The question is why GG is here ??

One question....

i believe we all agree that Anil Kumble is an old horse and a winner whose credentials can not be doubted and he delivers whenever he is out there....Now since GG is preparing a team for Wcup 07... Is Kumble in his good books?.. can we imagine Indian line up without kumble in windies in 07?

i really don't get what chappel s upto...due 2 personal reasons he s not lettin sourav make a comeback in d team...now dat d team needs him most...i dont understand how long s he goin 2 stick wth kaif...he s a flop show now...ganguly in d middle order ll really give strength 2 d team...he needs 2 comeback atleast in onedays...coz he s an oneday specialist
