Hey guys,

Been back from my Kalsubai and Ratangarh trek. I loved it right from start... and to reach at the highest point of Sahyadris is awesome experience.... the trek was not tough... but I went in normal shoes (and had terrible time slipping every now and then).... reached the top at Kalsubai in 1:45 hrs from base... and its an amazing view from the top....the temple is also good....

Ratangarh is a bit more like hiking than trekking... didnt had steep ascent... and it feels more like passing through a forest.. we took a guide for ratangarh since we were short of time and didnt wanted to loose track .... and it was really confusing... without him we would have probably took more time to reach the top... we even saw tiger footprints... at the top is the fort... an amazingly built structure... our guide seemed to be bit more adventourous than us... he took us down through a different route than we came up... and man was it scary... there was one narrow trail.. one side was rocky (nothing to hang on to) and other side was nothing... a deep valley.... that was the only scary 3 min walk....but it was total fun...

New Trek is in the pipeline. We are mostly heading to Harishchandragad on 4th/ 5th march. I went there this monsoon but didnt reached till shelter place. Enjoyed clouds, thunder and sleeped under rain in makeshift tents

There wont be any clouds this time ..
some info and pics of our Last visit some time back in July here
