I'm really surprised - no one on pg seems to have talked abt the terror attack at IISc yesterday - just a sheer act of terrorism. And why did they have to shoot a scientist. We need to do something to overcome terrorism - what can v do?

well,i was just watchin the dreadful news on tv.and suddenly felt like having a look at what you puys had to say.did a search on threads on terrorism n came across this one..but was literally very surprised to see no activity whatsoever here.....i am sure all those who have been a witness ofwhat happened in mumbai today will agree that its high time this thread gets the response it deserves.seven blasts in mumbai and five in kashmir........the same day!where are we headed?and whats happening?god help all those who have been a part of this awful event.and once again,the spirit of mumbai is tested.

Some pakistani terrorists come and take one plane to afganistan ...plane lands in amritsar...we keep requesting taliban(other terrrorists) to give access to kanhar airport.....some pakistani terrorists attack our parliment and we move our forces to border and call back after 6 mths...we have got so strong will power to impelment to impose reservations against majority....but we dont have will to screw terrorists...we want ceasefire...cause its in our genes...we dont want to defame our first prime ministers repuations as "peace leader" ....

Indian democracy(?) sucks...and we are ashamed of that....

so many blasts in one day !! :angry: i feel so pained to see so many ppl killed. the goverment should take a tougher stand. they condemn it everytime but dont do much to prevent it. india always plays the big brother in this region.see wht israel is doing.they retaliate in the the most desireable manner. they hunt them down and smoke em out. just for kidnapping one israeli soldier they are close to nuking the terrorist teritory. they dont give a damn abt wht the international community thinks. they know tht wht they are doing is right.we should be doing the same.its time india flexes its muscles. everybody knows where these SOBs come from(P:snipersm:A :2gunfire: K). india is too darn polite. diplomacy is going no where.hardly a year ago gatewayofindai blasts ,then new delhi blasts now all this. and most importantly blasts for 15 yrs+ in kashmir.hope we see some concrete steps taken soon. jai hind!!

i secondwat u said....human life is of trivial value here....this is how ill prepared we are.even wen ppl are injured...its not that they got a scratch or somethin...injury here means losing limbs and wat not.i seems like it all comes down to the fact that the more ur inside your home,the safer u will be.local trains,in the name of god!this is yet another sad day for india.our system is a complete failure.

This is horrible. and the Indian govt will just issue some statements and appoint a committee to look into this. The report will never come out and as usual this act of terrorrism will also be forgotten soon.

I can even predict what will happen in Maharashtra. In the next 2-3 days. around 5 to 6 people will be arrested and will be charged under MCOCA. MR Majeed Memon will definately be the counsel for the arrested people. The case will go on for few years. Then some court will say the police has bungled up and they will be acquitted.
