hey great post this guys...congrats to all the call getters! As Atrangi put it appositely it does give a good idea abt what IIM ppl are expecting.....but i just wonder majority of the call getters are 22+ (atleast in this forum and some other ppl i know who got calls) so was age a deciding factor too? I wonder how many freshers have got thru'.....btw anyone from chennai here??? Trivandrum and Bangalore guys seem to hog the limelight here! Anyway great show guys!

well..from my assessmentof the final calls:

A -looks for stud backgrounds (iit,bits,or some fundu companies) or/and gr8 cat scores...should have had decent gd pi

B - gone totally on cat percentile this time..if u can say a word in gd/pi..n above 99.7 ..u should be thru

C-gone for a mix....cat percentile and .... guys who have shown their analytical ability in interview...

L -as always.....cat percentile and acads..coz thier course is as rigorous as A

dont think so..coz a college senior with 99.69 and 78% acads cudnt get thru IIML...then he got final calls from IIMA,IIMB and IIMK...looks strange rt..

there r always exceptions :wink: ..but by and large...i feel this is the way they have gone...

Hi.

I think that A is totally weird the way the calls have gone. It is not scores or backgnd or wrkex. Look at Kake's profile - grt CAT score, IIT backgnd, 34 mths wrkex. So what went wrong ? GD/PI - maybe. but who the f*@& knows !

And Kunal 2 - guy converted evrthng xcpt A. Amazing score, but still didn't make it.

The other IIMs seem 2 b a lil more predictable - the way the calls have gone.
