Strange problem - need to know IIM results date!

sorry if it seems like i'm jumping the gun, but by when latest do you think the IIMs will declare the final results?

I am in the middle of a strange predicament .... i have an admit from ISB and am required to pay up close to 8 lakhs by the 15th of April. Incidentally, term starts on the 16th of April. Also have six IIM calls and honestly would prefer an A, B or C over ISB. So basically i'm wondering if the IIMs will be out with the results by the 15th of April or not. I dont want to land up at ISB (after having paid 8 alkhs) and then discover that i have an IIM call!!...

Did mail the IIMs....very vague replies but all seemed to be saying mid April.....which could mean anything!

Whaddya guys think?....from last years threads it seems like the results were out by end April but that probably is not a representative sample coz of the Leak CAT and the whole process getting delayed...

Do shed some light guys.....

I think results of most IIMs will be out around mid April .. .. last time results were out before april end though the paper had leaked so i suggest u not to get panicky...In the previous years results have been usually declared a few days before the probable dates..Moreover if u have got all 3 calls A,B and C, there is a high chance that at least one result will be out before 15th april.. still keep ur fingers crossed..

Just after our interview at A (Feb 12th), we asked a gentleman out there, who was (most probably) a prof, about when we cud expect a response... He said around 10th April.
So dontcha worry ... I'd luv to be in ur place

P.S. Interviews continue till end-March... so apparently, no chance of any response frm the big three before april.

I have a final call from MDI .............and the last day of accepting it will be March 31st ..so that will be much earlier than the IIM s ..do u think I should pay the 20k and risk losing the 10K
BTW I have BLACKI..XLRI ..FMS..IIFT....
I would rank ABCL XL..FMS..Above MDI ...
so please throw in your suggestions

rahul...from what i've heard FMS results will be out by the end of the month....so if FMS works out for you, i guess u need not pay the MDI deposit....

10th April is the Date as of now for the IIMs.
