However it would be great if someone could post out the number of calls sent ...

Also it would be great if someone could tell us as to how many people are there in the final list released by IIM K...
Hi Guys,

All of us are now away from the campus, at home for a short summer break before we head out for our summer internships. The last update I had was when I spoke to our admissions chair b4 leaving...he said 14-15th april is mostly when the results will be declared.

With regards to the number of calls in the final list, well it depends on the number of seats (120/180) which is subject to some clearances. Unfortunately, none of us are on campus to catch the latest news ... if we do get any news we'll pass it on..but as of now, no option but to wait n watch!

Best of Luck.

Had posted this in another thread too.. Thght it holds more relevance here due to the sheer number of ppl called with sub 99 is high in K

No offence meant to anyone.

I have been seeing the interview experiences of ppl who have sub 99%ile, one thing is these interviews are very short and sweet. Mathlab no grilling, no acads, few questions, and cordial discussions. I also had a similar intvw for my solitary call, K.

Wht the hell is this suppose to mean? Is it pre-decided that they are gonna chuck us out becoz of Sub 99 or are they too impressed? or Is it like we thght u might be different so gave a call, but u r no great shakes so bye attitude by the IIMs? Guys I am going mad thinking abt this.

Can any one enlighten me on the apprx number of current ppl in any of the IIM's who are sub 99, like is it countable like 4/5, if it is K would be very much happy?

i have a percentile "quite above 99" and just had a 10 minute interview and got the same feeling i.e this is just a formality we are not really interested in you.........if that is bad what is worse is that i got the same feeling in all the interviews....but i guess for another 10 days i am going to do everything that i have not done for the past year ...which includes sleeping....once the declaration on our destinies is made who knows what we do to cope

I second avirath on this.
I have an above 99 percentile and a decent profile with work-ex but believe me all my interviews got over in more or less 15mts. I never felt that they were testing me, it was more of a discussion than an interview.
Anywayz 'jho hua so hua'. We cant change the past, so i am looking fwd to the future and at present I am doing what I always wanted to do. Play lots & lots of AOM.
So Willitbenow start worrying abt ur percentile and give ur brain a break.

I dont think this is true for IIMK. Even I have a high %ile n They asked me "so u must be having 6 calls, right?". N they seemed to have called people based on %iles. Every1 in my panel was around the same %ile range

My panel had very different percentile people. There were sub 99's [like me] and guys above 99.9 too. And as far as the stuff goes about asking "So you have x calls" well in my panel they were asking everyone roughly the same question :- "So are we the only ones to have called you?" and this included a guy with all 6 calls with a percentile of 99.92 ...
