scanning aint a prob for me if PG doent mind me posting them online here. i can get TIME papers. I'd like someone to get IMS papers. a word of advice from chandoo or pg would be nice: i just called up CL in chennai. their mock test series is as follows:

9 All India mock tests which can be taken on Sunday or Monday(monday is cool for me)
20 carry home papers with solutions
4 carry home papers of exams like XAT,FMS,JMET etc
1 All India mock test for exam similar to XAT,FMS.

all these for 3000/- bucks. is CL really worth it PG? Iam already into TIME classroom. so i get another 18 there. IMS seems too expensive with 8 Simcats costing between 2500 to 3000 bucks( they havent decided the actual price).IMS hasnt even decided if they are giving free Simcat this year. How about that. So what r my best options PG?

CL Test Series - 10-06-2005, 06:05 PM

Hi Srikrishnan
I have some contradictory info.
I visited the CL Delhi NC center in the afternoon and inquired about the test series.

I was told that from this year on they have stopped giving stand alone test series. We have to buy the correspondence course which also includes all that you have mentioned.

If neone has some other details please post it here.

BTW I don't think that PG will have any problem with the Mocks being posted here. So we can really think about posting them seriously.

Bye!

I like the idea of scanning test materials and posting it online .
I was wondering if the institutes have any copyright protection to prevent such things ?

Nyways , I am willing to participate ...

regards ,
Nishant

Hii buddy ..there are IPR laws which prevent from circulation of such papers .....either hard or soft copy ........u can anyway exchange papers with ur frnds but sharing it online is definitely goin to land u in trouble ....I have had such expereince when i shared some materail from my college's profile space

hey dhruv
nice to hear from u man. i guess the policies vary from city to city. u see cl does not have a huge base down south unlike the north where it is the premiere insti for cat. should they come up with sth like what ur saying, then they rnt likely to build their base down south. so i reckon they havent implemented that stratergy here. evenif they have implemented it, if the correspondence course+ test series for 3000 seems a good buy but iam sure that they r giving the tests series package that i mentioned above for 3000 bucks. so thats about it. also i was wondering if cl is actually that good cos there is sooo much of hype here about ims's Simcat and TIME's aimcats but nth abt cl. but ims's simcats seem too expensive and way off the mark from what i've gathered from the Aimcat vs Simcat thread.

further comments are welcomed especially from the guys whove done it before.

posting papers - 11-06-2005, 12:04 AM

Regarding posting old CAT papers i am sure there can be no problems.

BUT , for mock papers of some particular coaching class will create problems.

Also in a way out we can send only a group of questions out of it , but its a tedious job.
