Just the thread i was looking for!! Here's my predicament...
I have just realised (!!) that i made an error in entering my graduation marks (on account of 2 marks in a subsidiary paper...thought it was 84...turned out to be 82!) in the CAT application form due to which my marks as per the form and my actual marks differ by 0.2% (on the higher side).
Are the marks presented at the interview (markshaeets et al) and the CAT application marks reconciled and if they are how screwed am i due to the difference??!!!!
The IIM A interview form says 'Provide complete information on the examination marks in all columns. Marks stated in these columns MUST TALLY with those in the original marksheets'.
Could this mean that they just reconcile what is mentioned in the interview form vs. the marksheets and not get into the CAT application data?
Also should i bring the difference to the notice of the interview panel (btw interview is on 24th Feb) or just ignore it since it just changes my percentage from a 74.3 to a 74.1 which is not all that life changing!!
Please help guys coz i dont want to mess up by chances with an IIM due to a problem like this!!!!
pls reply soon coz im completely freaking out!!!
thanks
