Hi .. just wanted to know ... are CAT cut-offs lower for wok-ex guys .. if yes.. how much would they be this year ..

It generally is....at least that is what the stats show...

cut off will not be lower .... overall marks will be

No matter how low the cut off's are...I dont think anyone gets a call with less than 98 %ile. Work ex or No work ex.

In the past (not ages ago), there have been calls (both, GD/PI n final) at a %ile much lower than 98 (depending upon duration and/or quality of work-ex, acads, co-/extra-curriculars), and so may be the case this yr as well... but as the population taking the test keeps on shooting up, n with the no. of IIM seats not increasing in a proportionate manner, the call-getting %ile is bound to rise.

Last year I know of a guy who had a call from IIM Indore for a percentile of 96.4 and Yes what Buck_was says makes sense also....

How do the IIMs know about the quality of work experience and extra-curricular skills..As far as I remember there was no mention of it in the application form.
