Testing Times

Hi Guys
I havent been too active on the group(with this id atleast).Am someone who has taken Cat one time too many.Almost made it once but well,,that almost killed me.

Its that time of the year again,the time we're all paranoid,even superstitious.
EVer wondered when we're in such a situation,everything seems to go wrong.

I am facing a situation like this.And would be happy if someone (maybe in a similar situation) wd help me feel confident again.
Been in 98s and 99s all thru this year,,,not one of the achievers but just above average.But now works hit me bad,its taking a toll on me,,i know its the wrong time,but i cant tell them that.
worse still,there are big break ups/messed up personal lives etc also involved.
So my confidence is at an all time low.
5 chutties for diwali here at infy ,thought i'd study like hell,,,but kinda followed my heart and have taken a ticket to home.
Now am feelin shit guilty abt the whole thing.

Hi chic,
Hey u shdnt be too bothered abt it. After all it is juz another exam though u have taken it lots of times. Putting needless pressures can only hurt u. You cannot do anything special in these 10 days, juz sharpen some test taking skills tats it. So cool enjoy diwali, have a blast and then come back. Juz focus fr tht last 2 days of the exam. don let ur mind wander and juz cocentrate and juz think abt CAT. after all i can assure u even the toppers wud have some butterflies in their stomach. So its same fr everyone, juz go there and as the nike AD says "Just Do It"

as u hv been thru this before, u gotta a tk a brk n jus unwind, enjoy diwali and brush up a few things 3 days before the d-day. i dont see any point in slogging now.

can understand ur situation as am i am more or less in a similar situation myself..by the way i work for infy too..and i feel the same about this 5 days vacation..but let us just cool down a bit..i know working here and at the same time preparing for cat is really tough..but just think about it..we have done that for so long..cant we for another 10 days? sure we can..just do ur best and leave the rest..
we r nor superhuman..
as long as we know we have put in our best...we should not feel guilty..
