Hi all,

In continuation with last year, we have Dr Richa Vyas, Director of Admissions of the Pune-based Europe Asia Business school (which offers programs such as a one year PGP in Business Transformation and other programs such as PhD and E-MBA. You can read more about this institute here) back on PG to field queries regarding admissions, courses, infrastructure, facilities, placements, faculty and others at EABS.

Dear Vasudevan,

The applications for the batch 2010 are now open. Here are the important dates for your reference:

Open & Close Deadlines
==================
- Applications Open from 1st Nov 2009
- Last date of completed application forms 30th March 2010

Interviews
========
considering the rush of the candidates & committment for other b-school interviews, we have scattered the interview process in three dates to help candidates in choosing the dates as per their schedule:

- 30th Jan 2010
- 27th Feb 2010
- 17th April 2010

You can choose the dates as per your schedule. Please note we accept CAT/XAT/GMAT score for last 2 years.

Another important thing to note is we have announced our second campus (fully residential) at Gurgoan, so you can choose from Pune / Gurgoan campus. The Pune campus is non-residential.

Is this thread active can we know about the current placement status at EABS.

As per the policy of the institute, we don't communicate placements on the public forum status prior to completion of academic year. This decision is taken up by the placement committee of the students.

However, I can share the last batch report. Students from last batch are working in top national and international companies like Capgemini, Mindtree, EMC, Reliance Globalcomm, Forst & Sullivan, AXA, Raychem, CEAT, E & Y, Wipro ... etc. Majority of them are in the 7 - 11 lakhs bracket (please note the higher bracket students have relevant experience).

What I can share you the committement that We are striving to do our record better from the last year ..

I recieved my admission letter yesterday and I have choice to choose from pune or gurgaon center. I stay in delhi so it wud b convinient for me to opt for gurgaon. However when enquired about it, I got to know that the campus you have shown on your website is actually the same as starex international school.and even this school website is showing the same pictures as yours. Can you please clarify this if you are going to operate from the rentend space in the school campus, will school b running in same campus or have purchased the complete facility at gurgaon.please reply as it is important for me to decide the campus.

To add, I talked to some of the passouts and they told me that last year only 42 students were placed out of 60-65.Please clear this doubt on placement as well.

Dear Jeet,

First, congrats on being selected to PGPM of EABS.

Yes you are right. EABS Gurgoan campus is 110 acre campus which is part of Starex Knowledge Park. The knowledge park has 20 acres carved out for an IT SEZ and rest is positioned for the integrated university. The campus has 28 blocks measuring over 9 lakhs square feet of area (probably the largest in northern India). The business school has separate academic building, hostel blocks and faculty residences.

EABS & Starex are co-owners (Joint Venture partners) for the campus. We have made proposal to ministry of HRD to start India's first Innovation University in PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) model. So, in near future the campus will be having multiple schools (like Law, Humanities, Engineering etc).

This is no secret that 2008-09 was the tough year for majority of business school worldwide because of economic downturn.

EABS has around 80 students and we have done placements for 71 of them (8 of them failed to graduate and 1 person oupted out of placement process). 1 year PGPM is a highly rigorous program and people who are not above the threshold limit (who failed in the program) are not allowed to sit for the placement process. The placement is offered to only those who are graduating with pass percentage.

Despite of the tough year, we have achieved the highest placement of 9.67 lakhs and 6 international placements, which is certainly a credible achivement considering the first batch for the school. As I have said earlier, majority of the students are now working in salary bracket of 7-11 lakhs in some of the best known companies in India & abroad.

Hi Richa,
What is the CAT score cut off for applying to EABS. And I have qualified the first two rounds of Unleash the CEO event conducted by EABS. This Sunday I am invited for 3rd and 4th round. Will this add value to my profile.
