Another one of the trivia that could make or mar one's performance.
Here's some more of thinngs to be very cautious of:

1) Always keep a minimum of 4 pencils and 2 erasers with you ready for the D-day . You never know when 2-3 pencils might get broken or lost.

2) Always keep an umbrella ready just in case there is rain. :x

3) Do come to SIMCATs as per the time given , so as to acclimatize yourself with the proceedings on the actual day.

4)Start reading editorials now onwards .In fact Cat-99 or '98(i don't exactly remember) featured one of the editorials as one of its passages in RC.

5) For those who can manage time , get hold of some IIT screening papers
(objective type) which contain some standard quant questions.

6)And remember not to take any tests after 20 november . That should be solely devoted to reduce last minute preparation glitches , consolidating test strategies and if possible watching 1-2 movies. :wink:

7) Finally remember that
" Winners don't do different things , they do things differently"

Hi guys !
I'm back ! PagalGuy is right ! There will definitely b at least a couple of guys in this club who end up getting iim calls ! hope that all of us do !
Sim2 was a real piece of cake, though i had some funny distractions ! This is absurd, but by the time i got 2 section 3, i wanted 2 take a leak really badly ! in fact i could barely concentrate on the paper. well ! i guess that next time onwards, i have 2 b more careful abt what i have 4 breakfast and avoid fluids. On that day i had soup, bread and cornflakes. on top of which i was drinking water practically nonstop because of the hot weather here in chennai.
I thought that i might tell u guys abt this experience so that it never happens 2 u guys !
bingo: glad 2 c u back. and v still seem 2 b getting similar scores. will v end up as classmates (hopefully in iim-a or iim-c) ? how did u do in NCAT2? I got a score of 69 (94 attempts) and a rank of 101.
gaurav: u seem 2 b doing grt.
pagalGuy: u r making a lot more attempts than i am, man! how on earth did u manage 2 do almost all of RC?

RC has always been my fav part of the paper. But my accuracy in that section in SIM 2 was pathetic at best. I had slowed down in the sentence arrangement due to lack of practice, else I would have gone through the final passage too.

That is an understatement ! He has excellent accuracy coupled with very high scores. He's one of the top dudes here who has the best shot at the IIMs

Hi guys,

There must be some problem with the way I shaded. The number of questions and the answers are all right and as per my prelimnary analysis.

I think it was not deep enuf!

But it does look all right to the naked eye.

I am flattered by the adulation showered upon me by Ravi and PagalGuy , which i don't think i am worthy of , since if there is no consistency upto the end for the scores , all these efforts go down the drain. Anyway , like Ravi said we all got to throttle our
efforts before the first timers do.
Anyway FYI the highest in Bangalore has been 101 and the total number of students
appearing in INDIA was around 16000. Still awaiting the percentile score in IMS website
( its taking helluva lot).

Your scores speak for yourself Gaurav. No kidding. I am sure you will land up at the IIMs. Its simple, that we guys speak what we feel here. Ravi & Myself feel the same about the way you are shaping up with your scores. Best of Luck gaurav.
