Hi all, sorry for the late reply..as regards to time..i am finding it to be pretty good in quant, DI, L&R..English may be not upto the mark...I have always been very weak in Maths..(had flunk in class 11th sc and then took up Arts)..so getting guidance in Quant is definitely a plus point for me..we just finished ratio and proportion...BTW atheist..i see that u had converted quite a few good colleges..Quite a bold move. I would have been happy enough to take any one of them..Just red an article that it has been confirmed that CAT will be done online from this year.

Promising..? do you know how much i had to struggle to get to 90-95%ile + during this year?
perhaps you are making your speculations based on Ar thematic progression//
people from iit's and iiit's and other top institutes have strong foundation in quants and VA. who make the bulk of >95....
so please do not base your ideas driven by unlogical analysis.
and
presently i have no interest for 2010..since it is already too late...
even for 2009 i have to subdue with job trails...so 2010 will be out of question.
my scores,
CAT 07: %iles VA 25 DI 81 QA 79 odd
CAT 08: %iles VA 77 DI 23 QA 98.5 odd...
IRMA lost by 0.25 marks in LR. SIIB with a factor of mere 2 marks
NMAT with in 5marks actually scored 87. cutoff being 91

I can offer you my tips:-

1) Do not follow rigorous Daily time tables..Routine mundane job kills our enthu..Dont do the same to preparation..Please enjoy it..
Rather make some weekly target..
say:-
2 chapters to brush up in QA ( 35 sums/week)
10 cases in DI. Some routine speed calculation..etc

2) Take out time from office..say after every 1.5 hour try one sum..Kind of relaxation we all do..instead of that have fun with DI/Math....It might seem too little..But 1 sum per one and half hour will land up into 4/5 sums/day

3) Week ends dont pust urself too hard..better do some prep in the week days also

I have planned the same for me ...any other suggestions are welcom

@mohitosh roy
speed maths plays an important role in DI, QA...so practice at least 20 problems every day.. by allocating 15 max. and another 5 min for evaluating/ I am doing this for 15 days.. it did brought me a change in calucula5tions.

for RC and LR ..at least one article a day from hindu/ economic times.....I would suggest paul krugman's articles.

do this exercises every day.....it may take atmost 30-45 min for u....
