Me too . Preparing for cat for the first time. Would like to know about coaching centers. Would also like to know about correspondence material. Would be nice for someone to start a new thread on correspondence material (as it is common for all cities).

Hello.

Welcome on board.
Lets all have a great time preparing for CAT 2009.

About me : I started preparing for CAT sometime in September last year and then decided on writing all the exams and applying to all the colleges.
Was getting just average scores in Mock CAT so thought that I might get into one of these colleges. But nothing great was in store for Me. So now I have decided to write CAT 2009 with all the efforts.

PS1: I am from Mysore, but will continue contributing to this group on a regular basis.
PS2:I am here for CAT ( IIMs), for now lets just concentrate our energy here only

It depends from city to city.
I had enrolled for TIME classes last year and it did cost me 11 K

Guys,

I'm in the same boat. Just want to get to the "destination" through CAT 2009.

Do you have any knowledge of private/individual preparation coaches? I've attended IMS in the past so won't like to bet on "quantity" focus coaching again.

Let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

What i have seen and understood from my past experience, take TIME or IMS , it does not matter. Its YOU that matters. You will have to slog and thats the only way to reach your goals.
I personally don have any problem with TIME material, it was too much to handle last year. But I am going to utilize all that this year.
