My CAT,

Quant attempts 13 question (they all should be correct)
DI attempts were very few, just 9 questions found tough to solve 3 sets (but again relyin on accuracy):confused:
Verbal attemts were 22 question (again accuracy is the key)

A total of 44 questions out of 90 questions.

Expecting alot from quant (all 52 marks inc. one guess), all 9 questions from DI but nothing can be said about Verbal (but atleast 13questions)

So, 52 + 36 + 41 = 129 marks (want to say atleast 129 marks but.....)

Need all the luck that I can get,

q.a.- was tuff. but dere were some questions directly picked form previous yrs cat and aslo form time mock cats. if 1 can spot dose question he is the king in dis section.

di- the tuffer one dis time.

v.a.- v.a. would hav been a cake walk for ppl good in eng. genuinly good. (not me). 20 question in vocab. even id a person has 50 % accuracy and take 30 min 2 do the 20 vocabs he ends up wid 30 marks in 30 min. that is the max i hope 2 get in ds section .

on the whole d paper was ment for ppl good in v.a. it was a dream come true for dem.

for me- all hopes lost.

I got a chance to glance thru the paper in 3 minutes..

I think QA was midway between CAT 06 and CAT 07.
DI was certainly difficult than last year.
VA ka I cant say, vocab/usage based qs were there....but then 5 options....lottery hai phir se. Not sure what these ppl want.

Hi, the paper was surely interesting with medium level of difficulty....

DI 13 attempts.....its my weakest section and I thought it was simple...especially logical resoning stuff seemed very easy...none of the sets seemed to be of aimcat level of difficulty...seems like,,,,i would be able to scrap thru it....

QA 15 attempts.....my strongest section, found it quite doable.....

EU 24 attempts......found it very very tough, especially RC was hard to negotiate......all hopes on clearing VA cutoff now...will edit my post later with more details in half an hour.......

didnt read 4 qs in QA and 8 in DI.. i hope its not a costly mistake..

Who dont have good english or strength in VA is going to suffer even in overall score percentile. very bad..:detective:

well i would say jsut dont see the VA keys for three days if u can(i knw that wont b poss but still) the va keys changes drastically for 3 days.. then apart from few ques i found last year if u compare the keys of all insti .. they were quite near

VA as it may seem 40 ques i guess ppl should have gone on marking spree..but 5 options make it a gamble..though vocab will make the score more stable..


also the cutoffs gets revised alot.. so dont get low seeing the initial prediction..
