Operations Mgmt for a Software Engineer ? - 05-05-2004, 08:29 PM

Hi guys,

I am a computer engineer with 2 years work- ex in Infy. I have a call from NITIE which is best known for Operations/Inventory mgmt.
I need help in knowing how can a S/W engr. convince the PI panel that a guy with 2 years work ex in s/w development can fit into SCM , Operations etc.
How can I justify that my experience in S/w development in Infy can help me in this regard ?

Is it normal for s/w engineers to opt for Operations or is it only for Production/Mechanical guys ?

Please reply,
Thanks in advance,

Sunny.
