The scene looks hopeful because there are 4 ppl from my college itself who are not taking C. Meanwhile please try to get as much info from IIMC and seniors as you can. Any analysis on no. of seats, no of final calls, no of waitlisted ppl is very welcome.. CAT '07 - 99.96 %ile

Misnomer bhai, can you start a poll over here... ppl who have got confirmed call/wait-list from IIMC and wont be joining... dont know the nitty-gritties of the poll setup over here, but it would be super if we can segregate it by pgdm/pgdcm... (i think that almost everybody would have put pgdm as choice number 1, so waitlisted ppl with pgdm as their only choice wont be helped much by only pgdcm cancellations).
furthermore, we can put up a message on IIMA and IIMB call getters' thread to vote over here.

Ppl who have got through IIML and are in waitlist for IIMC, here is some info. I called up IIML about their fees refund policy, in case!... They said that they will deduct 1000 rupees from the 50000 deposited as processing charges. Also that formal request for refund should reach them before 5 June - otherwise there will be no refund. One thing is not clear from the poll.. how many of the IIM A/B joining junta are forfeiting their PGDM seats of IIMC.
Leaving PGDCM seats won't help PGDM wait-listed ppl .. Can changes be made to the poll now? IIMC Waitlisters thread

I don't think poll would be of any help..lemme share my analysis
People will leave C for A or B or some other reasons (degree issues or gud placement offers or GMAT) People leaving C for A
Most of the people with A offer have converted C as well. ( All people called for A PI were called for C as well)
A has given ard 200 gen offers. I think its safe to assume out of these 200, ard 120 would have converted C as well. ( Its a conservative estimate)
Out of these 120, almost everyone will leave C for A. Hence there should be around 110 people who will leave C for A. People leaving C for B
According to B offer list, 137 of the people had multiple converts. I assume of these 137, ard 20 will have offers frm C and B and not from A. Hence there should be around 20 people who will leave C for B. People leaving C for other reasons Rough Estimate - They should be around 20
Hence there should be around 150 drop outs from the C list. Now it all depends on how many buffer calls C has given. 2006 CAT - 98.22 No Calls
2007 CAT - 99.81 BLACKI
Rejected - A, B, I
Waitlisted - C
Converted - K, L

If not, catch ppl for the polls above!...
By the way, it might be like this - IIMC asked for the income and all in the form only. If OBC candidates, under non-creamy layer, are unable to provide the non-creamy layer certis, then only the waitlist will budge - Provided that IIMC has considered the buffer, which they have done in the past . Remember that they have taken out the waitlist for the first time. I think the scenario is very bleak... IIMC Waitlisters thread
