And believe me, although I have not been active at all in this past year on PG, once you guys/gals come down to Kampus... I'll ensure that your time is "well spent"... But more of that later..

Is there any preparatory program for non engineers like few other IIM's??If so,when will it start??

i am wait listed 20 for IIMK.
Plz let me know till when will i get to know whether I am selected or not.

Also I will have to submit fees for keeping my seat at MDI.
Should i wait or go for the submission of fees?

Yes, there is such a program ...
It will start 1 week before normal classes start out .. sometime in 2nd week of June

The 1st waitlist shd clear arnd the 20th of May
Lets wait and see how many calls have been given out this year and we can maybe predict waitlist movement ...

If the last date for MDI is approaching fast, you might think abt paying up as of now

Hi Seniors,

I've a small query and I hope this maybe helpful for others as well.

Around what time will the session start? (July 1st week?)

And what's the minimum months of work-exp required to be eligible to sit for the laterals (22?)

Moreover, will anyone from IT background be eligible for laterals across all sectors (Finance, Mktg, etc).

My prob is that to have 22 months of exp i will have to work till 28th June and that seems to be dead close to the session commencement date.

If IT work-exp won't be taken into account for laterals then I will quit asap.

I will appreciate if the seniors can throw some light on this. This is kinda urgent as I have to serve a month's notice period.
