This is Ankur Thakur, from Faridabad...
Joining PGDM(FT)..
will be completing my B.Tech (Mech. Engg) in june...
got placed in Honda manesar,Gurgaon ...
decided to opt for LBSIM ...
looking forward to meet u all ...
so what all should we need to carry on the very first day???
i saw the hostel & have paid the advance as well...
looking forward to spend 1 or 2 months there...
any one from faridabad???
do tell me if you have taken up the hostel or commute daily???

hi adi,
what i heard is that we can wear formals as well...
there is no compulsion as such,,
and more over we can decide when we meet at hostel..
when will you be coming there???

hiiii frnds ..... need urgent advice from u ppl .... i was selected in pgdm finance after clearing waiting list ..... but i hvnt opted for it!!!

but today i got call from mr. mathew. n he told me tht i hv been offered seat in pgdm(main course) n i need to report before 20th n i can pay first installment within one month..... guys tomorrow m leaving for goa institute of management n today m in fix.....

pls advice me ... if any seniors can give advice n i ll be thankful to him/her.....

i hv visited ims, cl , etc for their advice n they r askin me to join gim but m inclined towards lbs due to its location.... guys m lookin fwd for honest reply.......

both the instis have their own merits and demerits. After passing outta GIM u'll get placed in and around mumbai, while LBSIM alumni get placed in and around delhi. Placement wise both are at par...though GIM's infra is much better. LBSIM is going to shift to its new campus in Dwarka next year.
You have a tough decision to make, so choose the school after some thinking over as u've got to spend the most precious 2 years of your life there.

PS: For me LBSIM wud pip GIM by a lil margin due to its locational advantage.
