Now from all my bak bak u might hv got IDEA abt my background........
Ya i am an engineer:bday: by profession hving 18 months of ex in leading MNC.do i hv any chances making it to NIBM..........
What are various parameter used for final selction what are there weightages??:sarcasm:

Here are answers:-
- Round II consists of one GD of 7 to 10 members, having general topics like reservation etc. and goes on for some 20 odd minutes so be prepared to present your ideas logically and also to accomodate others point of view
As a hint I'll suggest to pay attention to the person moderating this GD from NIBM as usually they are people of great repute having some 40+ year of experience in banking/commerce/finance/management teaching........so now you must understand what they look for
- This is followed by a PI taken by an NIBM representative and somebody from industry (usually executive director of some PSB, in my case it was A.K.Puruwar, then chairman, SBI
) So take the things easy and be rational and honest.
- Bak bak?? As this is the only post I have seen by you so can't comment on this, but yes if thats the case try reducing it in quantity and increasing the remaining portion in quality

.........Me too a engg. and won't like to acknowledge "bak-bak" in generality
- Weightages question has already been answered a few post above, and about your work experience and all, understand NIBM being a very specific institute is different from general B-Skools, thus make sure you are (can) justifying your career moves.

Yes system is very well defined and they try to create heterogeneous mix of students from the available with the suitability to work in (for) banking industry as guiding principle. I guess basic knowledge of statistics, excel etc. should be considered as advantageous. No official info on weightages is available but I repeat that just don't worry about CAT score after getting a GD/PI call.........All the best!

As Sourabh is busy himself preparing for his GD/PI, lemme answer this on his behalf

.............Chances are bright but I only wanna know if you are sure of switching from dairy to banking , and if yes then welcome, the next big expansion will be in rural finance only and you know you can strike gold with mixing these two skills when acquired.
Keep Shooting Puys......And for your GD/PI ....Take it Easy!!
