there is some issue i am facing in VA questions. especially FIJ's which go wrong consistently. also somehow the pace in DI, doesnt seem to grow. any last moment tips?

This had consistently been the great irksome venture for me too to handle FIJ kinda questions. But now .. take for ex. AIMCAT-802 .. I attempted all 4 , and all 4 went correct !!
See .. candidly tell me .. before attemting these kinda problems in VA .. have u ever perused the statements in which they define FACT , JUDGEMENT and INFERENCE as well . Plz go through them and try to analyse and retein what they actually mean .

1) FACTS - are the things which can be verified .

For ex .. Nidhi got 280 out of 300 in CAT 2006 .
This is an example of FACT . It can be verified . It can be untrue also but then again can be verified whether Nidhi got that much or not.

2) JUDGEMENT - are personal prejudices more often than not .

For ex: .. Nidhi is a very charming girl .
This is what the writer of the statement thinks . What is charming to one might not be charming to the other one. Upon verification ... Some might find Nidhi not charming . Sometime people get confuse it with the FACT but its not . The verification of this cant be UNIQUELY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY done .

INFERENCE - As Nidhi have been getting first rank consistently in her first , second , third year exams , She is very happy .

Yah that is an Inference as this reason is justified for her being happy ( Inference cud be drawn and this is different from Judgement ). Its not a Judgement , Remember .

See it is very easy to point out the FACTS. But in case of JUDGEMENT and INFERENCE , be careful . Practice will definitely gonna help .
