Can anyone pls post the process of refund from IMI. I have the receipt also with me of the cheque that i have submitted. Should i return that also ? Will writing a mail to IMI be enough or I have to do that personally? Pls PM me the process.

I was really looking forward to IMI, and being a part of this wonderful B School, but I got a convert from SIBM Pune yday, so have decided to go thre.

Its a really tough decision for me, I had already chosen IMI over NM, and have no doubts that its a fantastic college really. All the people i talk to regarding it, are more than satisfied, which shows me all I need to know.

Will be cancelling my seat by going thre tomorrow . Wish loads of you i met here all the best, and a special thanks to ppl like chekidu and nikhil, who have been really helpful all throughout.

.....................The UGC ratio is one professor for every two readers and four lecturers. Instead we have eight professors for every associate or assistant professor. Experienced and highly qualified faculty cost more. We pay 35% more salary than the maximum prescribed by AICTE. That is one of the reasons why we are able to get the best of the faculty and also retain them. Usually, our faculty leaves to take up directorial positions in other B-schools or a lucrative job in the industry or a consultancy firm.

Has anyone got his loan approaved .... pls keep sharing the progress .... like which bank ..how easily the loan available thr and tis tht.. will be helpful for all of us here (IMI Batch of 2010 ) ... I will leaving for my hometown on 23rd of tis month and then will approach one

This is the mail I had written to IMI Finance Dept
"I have taken admission in PGDM 2008-10 program. Sir, I would like to avail the Educatioanl Loan facility from a bank. So very humbly I request you sir to please be kind enough to advice me which bank to approach, my place of recidence being Patna? Do IMI has a tie-up with any bank? Going through the websites of some banks, I came to know that they require a document which states the fee structure of the Institution. Can such a document be produced and sent by the institute?

Looking forward for your kind help sir. I will be obliged to you for the same"

And here is the reply which I got

Dear Mr Neeraj,You can avail loan from our banker Indian Bank or Canara Bank or with any other bank as every bank has educational loan scheme. They only require that course should be approved by AICTE. The fee structure certificate will be sent to you separately. Kindly provide your complete postel address.
