Hey guys, just saw the news that SC has stayed the OBC reservation for this year in IITs/IIMs. it mainly questioned the govt on relying on 1931's census to decide the reservation and has directed the govt to come up with some more substantial evidences to support the ground for such decision.
court even passed stinging remarks on govt like don't devide the country for the sake of vote-bank policy.
the next hearing is in 3rd week of August,
what does this mean for junta?
will the results be delayed? what will happen to the increased seats in IIMs
?

while these are truly good news, can anyone please corroborate these facts prior to the discussion by posting a link to any article which says this has happened?

Actually we didn't have the quota this year at all... it was supposed to be introduced from the next year. But now... lets see what happens by the time the process actually begins, somewhere in Aug-Sept 07 for batch of 2010...

Symbiosis has no issues with the reservation policies - that was clarified a long time ago. However, at no points of time will it take any proactive action wrt this issue. As soon as any government notification comes out, they will follow it. That's all.
